1.Pre-filtration
Raw water passes through pre-filters, such as sediment and carbon filters, to remove large particles, chlorine, and other impurities that could damage the RO membrane.
2.Pressurization
A high-pressure pump increases the water pressure to overcome the osmotic pressure and force water through the semi-permeable RO membrane.
3.Reverse Osmosis
Water is pushed through the RO membrane, which allows only water molecules to pass while blocking salts, minerals, batteri, and other contaminants.
4.Post-filtration
The purified water is further filtered using a post-carbon filter to enhance taste and remove any residual impurities.
5.Storage and Distribution
The purified water is stored in a tank or distributed directly for use. Wastewater (concentrate) is discharged through a separate line.
